PERSONAL DATA
You can access Sally Sees and browse our site without disclosing any of your personal data. Sally Sees does not collect personal information about individuals, such as names and mailing or e-mail addresses, unless it is knowingly provided by the individual and he or she has agreed to the terms under which Sally Sees will use it.
If you do not enter your information into any forms, we cannot and will not store any of your personal data.
However if you choose to fill out a form, such as when commenting on our website, reaching out to us via a contact form, signing up for our newsletter or anything else that requires you to physically write in your information, we collect the data you surrender and store it securely.
COMMENTS
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. Therefore, the Gravatar service privacy policy is available, and after comment approval, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
NEWSLETTERS
On Sally Sees, you may subscribe to our newsletter, which may be used for advertising purposes. All newsletters sent may contain tracking pixels. The pixel is embedded in emails and allows an analysis of the success of online marketing campaigns.
Because of these tracking pixels, we may see if and when you open an email and which links within the email you click. Also, this allows Sally Sees to adapt the content of future newsletters to the interests of the user. This behaviour will not be passed on to third parties.
We currently use third-party programs to manage our newsletter database and delivery. These programs include but are not limited to, ConvertKit. These companies have their own privacy policies and should be referred to on their individual websites if you have any concerns.
